MPG LeadNet Symposium 2018
Berlin, Harnack Haus
16.05.2018 - 17.05.2018
Are you a senior research scientist with leadership responsibility in the MPG? Do you value collaboration and free discussion with peers? Do you want to learn about research across the MPG and our President’s vision? If so, we would like to invite you to the 9th LeadNet meeting at Harnack Haus in Berlin on the 16th-17th of May.
LeadNet is an annual symposium focused on bringing together the community of senior researchers in the MPG. Our goal is to provide a forum for face-to-face communication that fosters collaboration and support networks for MPG researchers. In doing so we hope to forge an identity for senior scientists with common views on issues relevant to leadership, career progression and success.
This year, we have the honor of hearing from the President of the MPG, Martin Stratmann, who will advise us on his plan for the MPG. We shall also hear from Nicole Boivin, Director of the MPI for the Science of Human History, and Hans Schöler, Managing Diretor for MPI for Molecular Biomedicine. In addition, we hope to provide key insights into patent and license management, while scientific sessions will introduce attendants to the breadth of research in the MPG. Furthermore, poster sessions will bring attendants together to discuss science and organizational issues important to junior researchers.
The success of LeadNet rests on the participation of MPG staff. We ask you to consider LeadNet as a scientific and organizational resource that may widen your horizons. We value your support in the actualization of our vision and ask you to forward this invitation to your friends and colleagues that might benefit from LeadNet.
Attention poster-birds: only a few places are left! Register before April 10th, present a poster and get free accommodation!
