Its progress has not only fostered profound interdisciplinary convergence across life sciences, optics, computer science, artificial intelligence, and engineering but has also provided transformative momentum for the precision design and engineering of future crops.

To showcase the latest breakthroughs in plant phenomics research from China and the global scientific community, and to further facilitate academic collaboration and knowledge exchange, the 1st International Conference on Plant Phenomics (ICPP 2025) will be held in Yazhou Bay, Sanya, from 10–13 November 2025.
