DigAgro 2025, taking place from 01 - 02 December 2025 in Tulln an der Donau (Austria) is a newly launched international conference aimed at bringing together various aspects of digitalization in agroecology and crop production. The topics include:

• Technology for smart farming
• Digital tools for plant phenotyping
• Digital innovations in agroecology
• Multi-omics integration, modelling, and prediction for microbiome research

DigAgro 2025 provides a focused platform to explore how digitalization is transforming agroecology and crop production from multiple angles. The conference brings together diverse disciplines and perspectives—uniting researchers, practitioners, and innovators who are shaping the digital future of sustainable agriculture.
Attendees can expect forward-thinking discussions, inspiring solutions, and insights into ongoing projects, methodological advances, and integrative approaches that link data-driven technologies with ecological and agronomic questions.
Special highlights of the conference will be a round table discussion on “promises and challenges for digitalization in agriculture” featuring numerous experts on this topic, and a workshop on "FAIR research data and digital management systems for agrosystems research" led by our partner FAIRagro.
