On behalf of the local organizing committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 24th International Conference on Plant Growth Substances (IPGSA 2023) from July 4-8, 2023 at the Hwabaek International Convention Center (HICO) in Gyeongju, South Korea. 

The IPGSA (International Plant Growth Substances Association) has a long history of international meetings that have served as important landmarks in the growth and evolution of our scientific discipline. From the 1937 meeting in Paris through this upcoming meeting in Gyeongju, Korea, the meetings of the IPGSA have exceeded the critical goal of serving as a place to make exciting scientific presentations among colleagues and unite researchers and stimulate cooperation.  

The venue, Gyeongju was the capital city of the ancient kingdom of Silla for 992 years (from 57 BCE to 935 CE), and to this day, a great number of archaeological sites and old architecture still stand. Gyeongju’s large historic area was thusly given the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage designation. We hope that, apart from the scheduled scientific programs and social events, you will have an opportunity to explore this ancient city and experience its rich culture and history.
