Registration for the PLANT 2030 Status Seminar 2014 is open now!

The PLANT 2030 Status Seminar 2014 will take place in Potsdam from March 31 – April 02, 2014. Participation is obligatory to all PIs of ongoing research consortia of the funding modules “Plant Biotechnology”, “PLANT KBBE” and “DPPN”. Each project has to be represented on the meeting and the progress made in the respective project has to be outlined as the seminar is part of the evaluation process by the SAB. The procedure of registration and submission of abstracts has been reorganized and is available via the newly established registration module on http://www.pflanzenforschung.de/en/events/status2014/. Please notice that the registration procedure consists of two parts (community registration and event registration).

Please pay attention to the detailed instructions and abstract submission deadlines as outlined below.

Project coordinators of ongoing PLANT BIOTECHNOLOGY and PLANT KBBE projects are asked to submit one abstract per consortium until December 16, 2013. Oral presentations for the agenda are selected from this pool. All projects are requested to report about the scientific background/highlights rather than consortia structure or work package planning. Abstracts will be selected for oral presentation on the basis of scientific excellence.  All other projects (also each DPPN Technology Platform) will need to be presented as posters. You may submit as many poster abstracts for the project consortia as you like by February 14, 2014.

All scientists (Post-docs, PhD-Students etc.) involved in PLANT 2030 associated projects are welcome to attend the seminar. They are strongly encouraged to present their work on additional posters. Furthermore, all participants of former and ongoing BMBF plant-related projects (AgroClustEr, Bioenergie2021, GlobE, IPAS …) are kindly invited to participate at the Status Seminar and submit poster abstracts to present their projects.

Important: similar as in previous years all consortia posters are content of evaluation by the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) of PLANT 2030. In order to allow sufficient time for evaluation before the start of the Status Seminar, all posters must be submitted as a PDF document not later than February 14, 2014, via the online registration portal.

Reduced room fee in hotel (64,-€ per night incl. breakfast): 06.01.2014
Registration (reduced fee): February 14, 2014
Submission of poster PDFs and additional poster abstracts: February 14, 2014.
